The basic mechanical skill. Increase ship structure strength per-level, but more importantly gives access to hull upgrade modules, and skills and modules used for armor tanking.

Note: There are two sets of most types of hull upgrade modules. Basic and named basic modules can be used by training this skill to level I. The improved Tech I and named tech I modules can be used by training Hull Upgrades to level I.

Usage

Level I:

  • Basic damage controls (basic, GLFF, interior, systematic, F84).
  • Basic nanofiber internal structures (basic, partial, marked modified, alpha-mod, type-E).
  • Basic expanded cargoholds (basic, partial, marked modified, alpha-mod, type-E).
  • Basic reinforced bulkheads (basic, partial, marked modified, alpha-mod, type-E).
  • Basic inertial stabilizers (basic, partial, marked modified, alpha-mod, type-E).
  • Basic overdrive injectors (basic, partial, marked modified, alpha-mod, type-E).
  • Small armor repairers (with Repair Systems I)
  • Small hull repairers (with Repair Systems I)
  • Small Hull Repairer II (with Repair Systems II).
