This chart is useful for acquiring valuable named items when looting. If cargo space is limited, choosing only meta 4 items is generally a good practice (meta 3 guns are a good idea too).

Basic tech level equipment is not included.

Notes

  • (1) The “worst\xE2\x80\x9D is different as it’s worse in a racial point of view, but also has a minor bonus for the other races. There’s also a different named for each race. The Multi-spectrum only named is Omni Positional.
  • (2) Different: F-43 Repetative (Gravimetric), Reserve (Ladar), Surplus (Magnetometric), Sealed (Radar). The only multi-spectrum named is F-43 Repeatative.
  • (3) The 4 named ones seem to be identical. Placeholders?
  • (4) I have defined the 5th best (Steel) as the none-named one.
  • (5) Note that for cargo expanders, the best basic (Partial) is better than Type-D, and the 2nd best basic (Alpha) is better than Mark I.
  • (6) Different names: Adaptive Nano: ‘Refuge\xE2\x80\x99, Reactive (explosive): ‘Aegis\xE2\x80\x99, Reflective (EM): ‘Spiegel\xE2\x80\x99, Regenerative: ‘Scarab\xE2\x80\x99, Magnetic (Kinetic): ‘Element\xE2\x80\x99, Thermic: Electrostatic.
  • (7) Different names: Adaptive Nano: ‘Collateral\xE2\x80\x99, Reactive: ‘Aegis\xE2\x80\x99, Reflective: ‘Contour\xE2\x80\x99, Magnetic: Dipolar Weave, Thermic: Interphase. Regenerative only have 3 named.
  • (8) Afterburners and Microwarpdrives have 1 named module for BS, 1 for Cruiser and 2 for Frigates. They are in that order here.
  • (9) With the exception of Warp Core Stabilizers, which are found one row below.
  • (10) Only one of each named
  • (11) Only one of each named, there are also basic and named basic versions
