Soloable in a Raven, this is an escalating paths site. The initial site has two rooms, there really is no loot here; to get the juicy Gist C-Type stuff you need to get the escalation.
You start with two groups but as you move towards either group or the acceleration gate other groups spawn.

When you shot the drug lab 2 Gist Cherubim spawns. After killing the two BS, a Domination BS may (or may not) spawn.
Upon blowing up the Drug Lab, an escalation could occur.
Trip report September 5th, 2008: Domination Warlord spawned after killing the Cherubim. Escalation occured after blowing up the drug lab.
6 Sep 08 : Domination Warlord spawned. Dropped a Domination Thermic Plating Mod and a tag. No Escalation.
16 Sep 08 : Destroyed all rats in second room then attacked the Drug Lab. Took the lab out with no Cherubim spawn or Domination spawn. Obviously no escalation.
17 Sep 08 : It would seem that to get the Cherubim and possible Domination spawn you need to be within 50km of the lab before you open fire on it. I was hitting it at max cruise range and getting nothing so I closed in on this run and got the Cherubims and a Domi spawn. However that's the 12th time I've run this site now and have yet to see it escalate. Domi dropped a thermic plate and a tag.
01 Oct 08 : From within 40km with a Dominix, sicced drones on the drug lab and site did not spawn Cherubs. Max distance must be pretty low.
11 Oct 08 : From within 40km with a Raven, same results... nothing spawned and nothing escalated.
7 Nov 08 : Sent a single warrior II to engage drug lab at 52km, after a good 20 seconds 2 Gist Seraphims spawned 50km beneath me, no domi and didn't escalate.
19 Nov 08 : After reading the previous notes I waited until I was 0m away from the drug lab before even targeting it. Nothing spawned, but the site escalated after the drug lab went down.
16 Dec 08 : Found 2 of these sites next door to each other. Blew up first drug lab at 0 km with no escalation or spawn. Blew up second drug lab at 20km with escalation but no spawn.
First escalation: Toxic Waste Scandal!
As of 24th April, no Domination War General, but previous encouters had one, and 3 Gist War Generals. 3 Arch Gistum Marauder battlecruisers.
Note: if you warp out of the first room, you will warp back into the second room
Six 'Storage Silo's' that are 'leaking'. They do pretty good damage like a smartbomb. About 1-2k of damage without hardeners on. Accompanying message: "One of the storage silo's is leaking dangerous materials which damage all ships in the vicinity!". If you approach them, the damage escalates to 1-2k with 80% resists. "The leakage from the storage silo is reaching a critical point and massive explosions are immiment!" Pop the cans, something may drop from them. I got 10 livestock, 10 coolant, 10 enriched uranium, 50 metal scraps, and 10 frozen seeds. Popping the cans can trigger a further escalation.
It seems that if you do not get escalated further you will not get a dead end message from this site. This is different from all other escalations.

Second escalation: Toxic Waste Scandal! (part two)
Note: this site has several variations with different rat types (not necessarily Angels), the escalation message from the previous site should tell you which type, so tank accordingly.
The first room is identical to the first room of the previous site, except instead of the Domi and Gist setups you might be fighting a Dread Gurista and Piths.
Note: if you kill the faction spawn and warp out you will be warped back in straight to the second room, so kill it last. Note: if you warp out of the first room, you will warp back into the second room
The acceleration gate drops you off at a room with 4x Pith Exterminator (who take forever to kill, occasionally jam and are generally annoying as shit) and a 6-7x Cruisers. You will be near a group of bunkers when you warp in, if you approach them 4x Pith Eradicators will spawn. Killing the Eradicators seems to trigger the completion requirement for the site (meaning it will inform you if it has escalated further or not) so trying to pop them first could save you a lot of time, plus they melt pretty easily. Aggroing the entire group is just about the limit that a well tanked Raven can handle, so a priest buddy would be a pretty good idea.
The "salvation angels refinery" is the Angel version of this site. It's a direct translation of the above site with the same battleship ranks in angel version. It's doable in a well tanked Dominix.'
Another angel variation of toxic waste scandal part 2 has you warping into a non gated site containing a "Gigantic Angel Industrial Compound". Causing any damage to the compound will immediately spawn a wave of Angel rats (for me, this was 8 x Saint BS, 3 x BC, 3 x HAC and a handful of tackling frigates). These should obviously be eliminated before continuing.
Shooting the compound further (approximately half armor) will spawn 2 further waves of Angel rats together (~8 more BS of mixed types - thrones and nephilims for me, with half a dozen BC/HAC and some tackling frigates). A named overseer Hakrim Grautur will also appear. At this time, I don't know if this is a genuine deadspace character which can drop Gist items, or a named Domination ship as all I got was 400 mixed missiles and a fucking tag. His bounty is worth 11 million. On killing Hakrim, I received a pop up informing me it was a dead end.
If all the other faction base sites are any indication this site cannot escalate any further.
